Toyota
Toyota is the world's number one car and is still retaining the coveted position amid the recessionary environment. However the bearish trend seen in the global auto industry has affected the Japanese auto major as well.
According to the company's report, sales fell 33.9% to 130,307 vehicles in November from the previous year, on a daily selling rate basis. Toyota Division passenger cars recorded November sales of 68,013 units, down 31.1% year-over-year.
Passenger car sales were led by Camry and Camry Hybrid, which posted combined sales of 25,224 units, the report said.
